Privacy Policy

Short version: Slider Video creates your comparison videos entirely on your device. We don't have user accounts, we don't run servers that receive your footage, and we don't sell or share your data. This policy explains the details.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Slider Video mobile application ("the App") on iOS and Android. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. What we access

The App works with the media you choose to open. Specifically, it accesses:

• Videos you select from your device to use as your "Before" and "After" clips.
• The exported video the App creates from your clips.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics. We do not require you to create an account.

3. How your media is used

Your selected clips are used only to render the Before/After comparison you requested. All processing — decoding, aligning, compositing the slider, and encoding the final video — happens locally on your device. Your footage is not uploaded to us or to any third party.

4. Storage

• Working files (temporary copies used during editing) are kept in the App's private storage and cleaned up by the system over time.
• Exported videos are saved to (a) your device's Photos / Gallery, and (b) an in-app Library stored in the App's private storage so you can view, play, or delete them later.
• Deleting a video from the in-app Library removes that copy. Videos already saved to Photos/Gallery are managed by you through your device.

5. Sharing

The App only shares a video when you tap Share and choose a destination (for example, Messages, a social app, or AirDrop). That action is handled by your operating system's share sheet — we are not involved and receive nothing.

6. Permissions

• Photos / Media library — to let you pick your Before and After clips and to save the finished video. You can manage this permission any time in your device settings.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal information at all, this is inherently limited.

8. Your choices

Because your content stays on your device, you remain in full control: revoke media permissions in system settings, delete exported videos from the in-app Library or your Gallery, or uninstall the App to remove its private storage.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
